Hey Guys,

            How would I go about reducing the production time on a number (or indeed, all) rebel/empire units? Any advice you can give would be appreciated.

for ground units, got to groundcompanies*name of faction*.xml (<-- replace with Rebel or Empire).  Then hit ctrl+f and search for "Build_Time_Seconds" (without the quotes) and change it to whatever you want.  The same goes for space units.  open up spaceunits(then fighter, corvette, frigate, capital, or super) and do the same thing.

i experimented somewhat with time, but it doesnt seem to be accurate, i changed it for 1 second for a x-wing, but it seemed to be off around 2 seconds... or is it just my computer? because it kinda lags a little bit when setting the timer so quik

On a side note, I made an interesting discovery concerning build times/costs. For testing purposes, I originally changed the credit cost and build time of all units to 0. When I tried playing the game, I could build nothing. Later, I changed the time to 1 second and the cost to 10 credits, and I can build everything. Basically, don't set the values to zero or you can't build anything. This also seems to be true for Tech Level (on Empire, at least).

Not sure if this has been covered, but how do you increase the boost to production speed caused by additional facilities?

 

IE: If 2 barracks produce at 130% of the speed of a normal barrack, where do I edit the +.3 factor?
