Yes the folder path is correct... and what are you talking about requirements?

 

Do you possess any planets required to build it, do you have a high enough star base, are you at a high enough tech level. Stuff like that. If your build time/credit cost/tech level are set to 0 change them because if they're 0 they disable the unit.

No.... for testing... I just replace models... ie. Take stormtrooper model and swap it with the new variant..Ive done it many times.. on testing other things.. always worked till now.

Edit:  Dodonna has a botched model, so he can't be put in.  I'm still trying to find a way to put Luke in so that he and Red Squadron aren't 2 different units.

Though I hit something of a snag when I tried this myself.  If you're not careful your entire model will turn your team's color in Skirmish mode... You can still see the skin, it just has a slight "Tint".

Huh. That's wierd. I wonder what would cause that? So far I've only tested in GC (I use Alderaan's demise, it's perfect for quick insta-testing...). I'm not making anything available in skirmish until I get it working.
