THis needs to be fixed so i can change teams and colors and stuff.

Person B: Wheres the Emperor, anyway?

Person A: The Emperor is currently at Nal Hutta.

Person B: I don't think he'd be at Nal Hutta it has a swamp.

Person B: Well its the Emperor, he would never touch a swamp as hes well the Emperor.

Person B: Instead he'd make a super weapon to destroy the swamp, it'd probably be called the Plunginator!!!!

When you click accept, you should be able to unaccept so you can change color and team

The problem is that this game was made well after very common things like the issue stated above have been handled smoothly.  The fact is that this game's multiplayer interface is very primitive for some reason.  It isn't even as robust as C&C Generals' interface and a few of the guys in Petroglyph worked on that title...

If the game creator change a setting, everyone has to acceot again.

More I'd say that you can unaccept by clicking on "cancel". With one click I don't remember if you go out of the room immediately .. Try ;)

The fact is that this game's multiplayer interface is very primitive for some reason.

 

 

Simplistic yes, primitive by no means. All by design of course.  Nothing worse than having an online GUI that has tabs and is cluttered to all ends of the earth. I like players to be able to navigate to where they want with the slightest of ease.  I do agree some features are missing and more will be implemented over time. In the next patch expect to see an ignore feature, a way to see a players CPU speed, estimated avg FPS in a MP game, and ping time all in the custom setup screen.  The red dot will be replaced by a check box.

 

We'll be posting patch notes as we get closer with all the details, fixes and balance tweaks.

Delphi, who says there need to be a lot of tabs? How about multiple level menus? I haven't played a lot of multiplayer yet, but the galactic map UI is certainly very simple.
