Star Wars Novel Collection

OK I admit I am a freak for reading Star Wars novels and playing Star Wars games.  I'd say currently my collection of Star Wars novels is upwards of 140 (haven't counted recently).  I'll be rearranging them in a few weeks time so check back and see how many I currently have.  Also I found that in the books that list the order of novels (chronologically) I am only missing 5.  I also have about 10 or so (again haven't counted them up but will)  Star Wars PC games.  This thread isn't about my collection alone, talk about your Star Wars novel collection (or comic or whatever) and share your nerdiness with your fellow Star Wars nerds.  ;D

I really don't have that big of a collection.  I would say I have about...20 Star Wars books, and 7 video games.  I get most of my infromation from the library or Wookiepedia.

I'm about on par with garbageben here :-[ i have around 120 on last count and about 10 games and all the films i have the orginals 2 times once on dvd twice on Videp and TPM on VIdeo and DVD.

Fosh you can't have every book...

i have basically every game fosh has but i don't have the Flight School thing. i used to have a game called Yoda but i broke the disc it was only a demo anyway... but i also have the clone wars campaign disc for GB.

You dont have the Kotor series yet? IMO they are by far the funnest sw games I have ever played.

My collection kinda sucks compared to you guys book wise. I think I only have about 30 books.

For games, I dont have any of the old ones like tie figher, but I did have rouge squadren for the N64 and rouge 2 and 3 for the gamecube. Pc I have kotor series, republic commando, lego starwars, Jedi Knight 2, and the battlefronts.

@Fosh, yeah that timeline is recent, but I dont think it shows all the sw books of all time, Cause theres only about 50 books listed.

i don't konw if it is but i can't find the Dark Nest 3 book at the moment but having read all the ones i have i have to say they are the worst ever.

Yeah the Dark Nest was kind of..... I dunno.  They're just plain bad (and yet I read them because they are Star Wars ;D).

ok before i am blamed for blashphemy i'll explain my case against the series.

1. they don't follow a stoy line that had been set in previous books eg JAina/Jag now Jaina/Zekk

2. JAg commander of a Chiss Patrol. Wrong! JAg is the Embassary to the GA.

3. The Celestials built Centerpoint. Nope that was an unknown presumably the Anicents.

4. The Number of Chiss Families.

5. Coruscant inhabited with a JEdi Temple. Wrong again Mr.Dennings Coruscant was deemed unihabitable and the JEdi Temple is on Ossus with the Academy.

6. Cal Omas's character. it's completely wrong he's warped a good stable character into another Palpatine.

7. No Mention of the Imperial Remnant. Where is it? it's disappeared.

8. Chiss DON'T attack First! The First law of the Chiss is that they only react they don't do preemptive strikes, but low and behold a preemptive strike by the Chiss on the Nest.

 

Need i Go on in my case against this series it poorly written Neglecting set roles and Characters and completely puts off first time Readers. i think that the series is a case of go home and do it again reading through the last Books of the NJO and this time write it to storyline!
