The Disapearing ship act!

Well I was playing a pretty good game over a LAN and then all of the sudden I noticed turbo laser blasts coming from no where. I hovered over the area only to discover there were capital ships there! Crazy no? The worse part is I cant attack them because when I try to issue an attack command my units think im telling them to move there. Definetely a bug needing fixing. And yes, I have all the latest patches.

Same thing happens to me.  Very annoying, but you can force your ships to attack them by crtl clicking.
