Shadowtrooper Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I'm not entirely sure what I've done, but I'm getting an exception when I drop Kyle Katarn into a land battle in GC mode. I've enabled him and his Moldy Crow for GC, the Crow works fine, but not Katarn himself. Any ideas? I figure if he works in skirmish, he should work in GC. It doesn't have an icon or description (you'll also have to give it a power, it's a hero after all!). And don't forget the scale, it starts out as big as a corvette! Just out of interest, i went in and had a look at the xml file concerning the crow, it doesnt have a land model at all. Also when compared to other ships such as Slave 1 or the falcon, it doesnt have any varients in place that concern landing or a death clone for that matter. That might be where your problem lies. I tried myself putting in the Crow, but hit a wall concerning land. I am looking into either trying to show the Moldy Crow actually landing, or replacing the landing ship with a shuttle, tho I havernt had much time to look into either as yet. Anyway, I hope it works

Goto the conquest you wish to edit (which will be listed in the Campaigns_singleplayer.XML) and add Kyle Katarn as listed below... I edited him in to the starting forces for the Sandbox Campaign "Galactic Conflict". Under Rebel starting forces add the following Rebel, Hoth, Katarn_Team You will start with him at the beginning on the game... Enjoy!!
