Bug: Previously saved LAN Campaign Multiplayer Games don't appear

I've tried playing LAN Campaign Multiplayer a number of times and saving games in progress.  I don't think I've ever got EAW to successfully reload a LAN Campaign Multi save game.  Either the save game doesn't appear in the list, or the game aborts saying the other player isn't there.  This seems to be a major bug making LAN Campaign Multi basically useless.

 

Also there's no way to pause a LAN Campaign Multi game!

 

If you can't save and can't pause you have to put your life on hold for the duration of the game (hours)!

 

BTW Where are the Save Games kept anyway?  I can't find the file they create anywhere.

 

Please help, this is very disappointing.

I have ran into the same problem over LAN. I did get it to work by starting a new game and then saving it and then quiting out. Then when I recreated a game in the lobby the save game shows up. Weird, no?

 

Multiplayer purposefully has no pause in it.

 

Save games are usually located here:

 

C:\Documents and Settings\{User Name}\Application Data\Petroglyph\Empire At War\Save

 

Replace {User Name} with your user name.
