Ghostly_Substance Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Well I was watching tv and this was around 8:30 pm or after (eastern time) and then suddenly I feel an the house shaking. I'm like "What the hell is my landlord up to" then I notice its an earthquake since it got stronger but not to the point where stuff started to shake. It lasted about 5-10 seconds and I want to ask any other Canadian here if they felt it too. Well if there is a shockwave then it may appear. Well I only pointed this out since its a rare occurance here. -One Empire falls another riseshttp://myanimelist.net/signature/EuroSubstance.png http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/os/type/2/ghostlysubstance.png

Stellar_Magic Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Actually the strongest earthquake ever recorded in the United States happened in the mid west... Of course it was over a hundred years ago. Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Don't really get Earthquakes in England. had a hurricane about 20 years ago though. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!
Nevets Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Michigan is pretty safe. Occasional tornado every few years, only remember one earthquake years ago and it was a tiny one. Once in a while a snow storm. Other than that it is pretty tame. Well except for a couple weeks ago when we had a snow storm, during the day temps went up to 50 and had a tornado watch and thunderstorms, and then it feel back below freezing and it started snowing again.
Ghostly_Substance Posted March 2, 2006 Author Posted March 2, 2006 The hell? You live on Mars ? ??? How the hell can the weather switch from cold to hot within a few hours ??? It I guess its true that clouds gather quickly and cause a massive storm in Tropical areas -One Empire falls another riseshttp://myanimelist.net/signature/EuroSubstance.png http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/os/type/2/ghostlysubstance.png
Nevets Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Haha, Michigan is anything but tropical, we pretty much have the same climate as ontario, but our weather does change rapidly. We our often trapped between two fronts. I remember last April we had 80 (F) degees one week and by the end of the week it was snowing
Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Lol weather in Medway, kent changes randomly we've had snow randomly everyday for the last week. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!
Lucius Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 the thing i really hate about the midwest is that it get terribly hot in the summer and too cold in the winter i need somewhere 24/sun and tropical wether with no problems
