Question Regarding Patch and difficulty level

Hi,

 

I have a question and I have to decide something based on it. When I first got the game, unpatched, I started playing as Rebellion and found the medium difficulty level to be too hard. I patched the game, and also i dropped down to easy level. Now I am finding the game too easy! I have lost only 2 battles so far and have conquered half the galaxy. I am in the part in the campaign where the Death Star makes its first appearance.

So my questions are, for those who finished the campaign, did the patch balance the difficulty levels at all? Without spoiling, am I almost done with the rebel campaign? I am trying to decide if i should restart at medium level with the rebellion, as I am not finding the easy level challenging with the latest patch.

Well, of course easy will be easier than medium! I don't think that the patch changed the difficulty levels at all, so try it on medium and see if it is harder.

Medium will be more challenging then easy.  I too had almost no problems with easy mode(But that's why it is there. Also, practice for the harder types or something like god mode).  They can a mass a big fleet that you may not be able to beat on offense.  I just stayed away from the huge fleets.  So how challenging the game is is how you play it.
