My suggestions for EAW or for next project

I got to say "This game is awsome " It's truely a brand new style in RTS.

The Reinforcement Point(RP) --really cool feature .

I am not good in English . So forgive my poor gamma.

 

even one soldier survie ,he still count 1 in pop cap . We should be capable to delete unit we dont want.

Two infantry but 2 in pop cap ,that is just annoying. Or we can recruit with money little than orginial.

And it also make the Exp sytem worth it . Exp begin from TS ,it's really really good feature.

That would make game more interesting . Or maybe u can improve the exp system .

like when unit reach level 3 , it earn some special abilty ,not just with more hp and damage.

that would make this unit truely uesful and worth to survie.

 

I think RP will be still in next game .

Not like traditional RTS,u  build ur troops and pull it to the battle ground.

RP makes me feel like "yeah, i am ready for the battle" ,and also make MP really intense and exciting. Although its  cool , we cant see war in full scale.

my opinion is that maybe u can "Buy the RP" in "limited" time.

It may make people underestimate ur forces , also it allow u to strike back , when u have money,

but not enough RP, and also make full scale war in final possible .

 

The upgrade should be unique ,i dont think upgrade ur armor three times in different tech level make

any sense .  upgrade may include special ability , but too much upgrade just make games too complicated.

My opinion is maybe Unit1 got three upgrade in tech1, but there is only one u can purchase.

Different upgrade makes unit look different. And maybe in next level ,u got upgrade related to ur previous upgrade. So u have different kind stragety to use , not just Only Two or three way to win.

 

The design for superweapon in EAW is really cool. It's kind of  concept that If u want it ,u pay it.

Alought without time countdown reduces the excitment.

But i still think that's also a new way to treat superweapon.

What i want to say is that in the highest tech level , u got superweapon ,but still in level 1 or level 2 ,

u can still have ur own special weapon , or ability. If u want to use it , u just got to buy it.

Three ability ,only two of them can be purchased ,and u need to make the choice.

Maybe u also can store one ability two times, if u have enough money.

In EAw u purchase ,but u can't store it.   I just want " Bomb them again ,when they submit ,arms-raised ,in their pitiful smoldering base."     

 

The part of base building:

whether the building is fixed or not, i dont think it matters.

If building is fixed ,u spend less time in managing ur base. I think that's very good in some way.

And the only thing it does matter is the defence tower. I think since the RP would be in next game ,

building pad (BP) should be allow players to control where they wanna put it on.

Of coure u can't build as much as u want to, the number of BP must be related to the number of the RP

that can afford. And still , u dont need a worker , solider can do this job. That would make the infantry is

truely important .

 

control sysetem:

The hotkeys design is very uesful for a large group of units. It's very easy to use.

Most of other RTS ,u just cant select different kinds of unit ,and still using hotkeys.

But for some abilities of hero ,like u just need Han solo along to use the EMP , and for darth vader ,he need to go forward to Force Push. In most of time , unit are select in the same type.

My opinion is that maybe this command bar still remain. U can control the units whith lots of abilities together and simply with just one click in the bar.

But the hotkeys should be changed.

The abilitis of unit can be set into "first" "second" "third" , if u want to use the first one, u simply type D

and F for second ; G for third and so on. That would be more easy, cause we dont have to remember 30 or more hotkeys in the same time, all we need to know is what's the first ability of this unit. Since except hero , regular unit only have 1 or 2 ability. U just clik D. That would be more easy to use. 

 

Those above are just my opinions.

I dont want this topic into argument.

And hope for more constructive and postive and creative thoughts.

Complainment does't make game better, it's the constructive ideas make it better.
