1stStrikeRecon Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 How exactly does the game interpret the unit distance_inaccuracy values? Say like a ship has "70" distance inaccuracy against a corvette... does this mean that it has 70 inaccuracy against that ship, or is it 70 units of inaccuracy added? I'd fiddle with the numbers, but I'd like to know what I'm doing first! ;D
Megajames Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 It's the degre of the fireing cone. The smaller the more inaccurate, larger less inaccurate Evacuate, in our moment of triumph. I think you overestimate their chances. Please can you post a comment on My clone story, in fan fiction. http://pff.swrebellion.com/index.php?topic=2306.0 (\_/)(O.O)(> <) This is Bunny. 1stStrikeRecon Posted February 21, 2006 Author Posted February 21, 2006 Dont you mean the smaller, the more accurate? 1.0 = 1 radii cone 70.0 = 70 radii cone right...?
DragonShadow Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Yes. The smaller the firing cone (with a smaller radius), the more accurate. It's all about math...God, I hate math... http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/RyuuKageSIG.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/AoSW-JCW_Banner.jpg
