Nicknames for the Vehicles

Some of the vehicles need nicknames.  I know most already have nicknames like the mon cal fishsticks and the AT-STs are chicken walker, but I am mostly talking about are the rebels ground vehicles.  The following ones like T2-B, T4-B, MPTL-2A, and  the Imp. SPMA-T. 

 

I have already starting to call the T4-B a mammoth tank, because that what it looks like.  Since most of Petro did come from Westwood, and there was a mammoth in all the classic C&C games. Also the mammoth used missiles and dual cannon.

 

I call the MPTL-2A a Medusa from the smoke trails the torpedoes make.

 

Yeah I know the two above nicknames are not Star Wars related, but it's just what comes to mine.  I still need a good nickname for the T2-B.  Lets see what we can come up with.

Those are both good names.  The Tie Crawler really does mow down all infantry in it's way.

I'm also tempted to call the MPTL-2a artillery "Yosemite Sams", since they both shoot with their guns pointing in different directions. >P

I call 'em "Missile-Spammers". They need a nerf really: As Rebellion I never used one, as Empire there is NO Rebellion-Planet without those things (often 2, 3 Bataillons + 2, 3 Heavy Facs garrison this Unit) ...

I call the AT-AT the N00b Killer. It kills n00bs who don't build speeders or plex soldiers as part of a planet garrison

There are the squint and eyeball names for the Ties. Also, I like to call the corvettes Blockade Runner.(wonder why) I call the level 5 space stations "Fortress of Doom".

Blockade runner was and still is a great name for it.  Just like how the Nebulon-B Frigate sounds good as Medical Frigate.

Speeders are 50% of my assault-force EVERYTIME. Because most players dont build any AA-Guns. And they're good for scouting enemy bases for bombing runs.

Um....do you guys mean you renamed the units actually, or are they all just nicknames you call them when you see them?

They are just nicknames we call them when we see them. Like: The Triangles of Death(SD's)are attacking us! Send in the Fishsticks(Mon Cals)!

I usually call the IPV-1 pirate patrol crafts "eggs".  I aslo think that Interceptor V Frigates look like a row of brownies, the MKII Assault Frigates look like cucumbers, the T4-B tank looks a little like the "Pumpkin of Death" and the T2-B tank looks like an RC boat or a short, fat carrot.
