ADarkJedi44 Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 congraulations on you're promotion. Now you can leave shadow squad for fleet command. Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 Or I could become a Wing Commander and stay in the cockpit.
ADarkJedi44 Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 well, you're not bossing shadow squad around. anyway what do you plan to really do now? Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
ADarkJedi44 Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 anyway let's get roleplaying. you start. Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
Trejiuvanat Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 Shedao Shai was really impressed by the description Elegos gave him of Thrawn's methods... I don't think Thrawn would have had a bad time with the VOng... He woul dhave come to the conclusion Ackbar came in DW, earlier much earlier... And Thrawn would have had lots of back-ups plans and have taken everything into consideration... Borsk, Jedi, Peace Brigade and all... And he has whatever he has in the Unknwon REgions... And could have possibly learnt of Zonama Sekot earlier.... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 I never thought about him knowing about Zonama Sekot. Though even if he did know where it was it would have moved a lot.
ADarkJedi44 Posted June 29, 2003 Posted June 29, 2003 i doubt he would of known ok Zonama Sekot. Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Being at there that long you think he would have at least heard a rumor.
Trejiuvanat Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 He spent half his career in the Unknown Regions and had a lot of connections with the other species in the sector, and he had a strong obsession for information, he'd definetly at least have heard of it... Anyway, I read at the official site... Or was it at theForce-net... I read somewhere that Troy Denning (SBS author) had signed to write a post-NJO trilogy... No info at the moment, though. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
the_mask Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 Wasn't that the one mainly about Ben Skywalker ? http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 Ooooooo! I can't wait! I loved SBS it was one of the highlights in NJO.
Trejiuvanat Posted July 4, 2003 Posted July 4, 2003 It could be... After all it's post-NJO stuff, and Ben Skywalker will be one of the chars that definetely will survive. No author would dare to kill Skywalker's kid... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
masterjojobinks Posted July 28, 2003 Posted July 28, 2003 Vergere has already given us a very possible ending. I believe it was in Traitor that Vergere told Jacen about her vision. Her vision was about Ganner Rhysode holding off the Vong while Jacen connected with the world brain on Yuuzhan'tar. The vision in essence was about the inscription in BASIC above the tunnel, where Ganner killed hundreds of Yuuzhan Vong worriers. I don't remember the exact words but something along the lines of "Here Fought Ganner the Great Warrior". (I can look up the exact words if you want.) Now, for these words to be written in BASIC on the Vong (new) home world indicates to me that in the end the Vong live in peace with the rest of the galaxy. Maybe they do that through some final battle and the shammed caste rising to power overthrowing Shimmera? Maybe it is from the 8th cortex being empty? Maybe it is caused by the Vong now worshiping the living planet (Zonama Sekot) and the above? These are just a few of the possibilities I have thought about.
Trejiuvanat Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 I put an interesting Shimrra thory I found in the Shimrra Theories thread in General Discussion. Yes, there was that mention by Vergere and if you have read REfugee, you'll see that (highlight to read) the Vong of Nom Anor's sect do worship the Jedi, (I particularly like that Force-Yun-Yuuzhan's theory), and that Ganner is an important part of the "Jedi pantheon", Vergere had said that she saw the Yuuzhan Vong worhipping the Ganner, but she understood when Rhysode contained the warriors. with his "none shall pass"... I have read up to REfugee if there's any Reunion reference try to write it in black, to avoid spoling it for me... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted July 29, 2003 SWR Staff - Executive Posted July 29, 2003 I've finally got to reading the last Force Heretic book. Looks like the endings going to be real good. I like the development with Tahiri and I hope she does become a major focus for the ending. She would represent both groups in whatever "peace" they can establish. Of course, killing Nom Anor finally would be good too Evaders99http://swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif Webmasterhttp://swrebellion.com/images/banners/swcicuserbar.png Administrator Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.- SW:Rebellion Network - Evaders Squadron Coding -The cake is a lie.
masterjojobinks Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 I have no doubt that the last book will be good. I just hope they tie up all the loose ends. I think it will be hard to do in just one book. Then again they could just end the war and then have another that will get into the peace aspect of it all.
Trejiuvanat Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Tahiri wil be dealt with in Keyes's Final Prophecy... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 Very Interesting posts, keep them coming!
Trejiuvanat Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 After Reunion comes The Final Prophecy by Greg Keyes, author of the Edge of Victory duology, after that comes the Unifying Force by Luceno. There was supposed to be an e-book in between, but it was cancelled. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
masterjojobinks Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 I thought you where talking about something from a previous book that I had missed. I also did not realize that Keyes was the author. Though the Edge of Victory books where very good. I am eagerly awaiting Final Prophecy. Suppose to come out in November right?
Trejiuvanat Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 October acutally and in Nov. Unifying Force http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
