Sith_Lord Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 Well, I had the similar problem with my Red Alert 2 game,It could be that your cd drive is stuck on abort, you can change it in the application manager by going to the properties of your PC If this isn't the problem I am sorry but then i cannot help you. the_mask Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 Is the cd scratched or something ? http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Bill Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 I've got XP, and I've had that problem, just give the disk a good cleaning, that's what worked for me, good luck! The force is strong in my family. No, Luke, I am your father.
dude21 Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 I think xp is the problem because it hasnt a Dos core or emulation like in Win '98 and 2000. And SW rebellion is Dos based. "I am growing stronger with the Force"
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted June 25, 2003 SWR Staff - Executive Posted June 25, 2003 SW:Rebellion is a Windows program. It is designed to run in Windows with DirectX. Obviously XP has several changes which make Rebellion unworkable in its environment. You need to set the program's compatability mode to Windows 9x and it should work just fine.
