Each of you can post the pros, cons, and summery of the game, and after that you can say if you agree or disagree with other people.

 

Here is an example:

 

Empire at war, with patch:

 

Pro's:

It's star wars.

Fun campain.

 

Con's:

Bad graphics.

Repetitive.

 

Summery:

A must buy if you're a fan, but ...

Bad graphics? The only bad graphics exist if your using a video card form like 1999. Turn on all the bells and whistles and its amazing. Ground battles that get harped on in reviews for graphics look just as awesome as space when you turn everything to max settings. Seeing the heat waves and the light effects its all so great.

 

EAW is a Must have

It doesn't come close, I can only get a few games this year (Money, and parent restriction) and right now I am not sure if EAW

is what I want.

unfair comparison, the other 2 games are at theyre defaul zoom lvl...eaw zoomed all the way up close.

you cannot compare the games, ghost wars and company of heroes aren't out yet and i dont thinkt that the gfx will be like on the screenshots. EaW Screenshots look better, too. And my gfx in EaW ist better then on your screenshots!

the other 2 will demand a lot on your computer, if you have a good one, go ahead and get them all, if yours is only medico, then eaw is ok

CoH for all we know will use a very SMALL pop cap ever video i have seen has only shown a few tanks or jeeps and a few inf on top of that those SS are low res i have eaw maxed out and it looks 10x better then the ones you posted.

Well then show me a empire at war picture with good graphics and I might buy the game.

 

And I agree with what you said about CoH pop cap but we can't tell right now. But one squad of troops in CoH is better than ten of empire at wars. Eaw troops stand shooting each other. In CoH they hid behind bins, climb into windows. Best of all CoH is TOTALY destructible. EaW war is a good game but at the moment it doesn't seem to be what I had hoped for.

Galactic Conquest is the only one that will have 42 planets iirc, have you look at that one yet Cain? but having 42 planets for SP Campaigne i dont thik they dont that

No offense to Petroglyph but I don't think the collector's edition is worth getting. The screen savers are far below par (a full screen version of the main menu battle would kick the asses of these. One is just the pictures from the manual of the A-wing, X-wing, Tie Advanced and Tie bomber bouncing around the screen, the other is a 3D show of the Death Star blowing up Aldraan. neither are that great), the wallpapers are either a shotty imperial space or imperial ground forces( 2 of each), the only new maps are for skirmish battles (would have been better to have more planets) and we've already seen 4 or 5 of the concept art pictures.

 

The only cool thing is the box, it does look great in 3D but for the game, just get the $50 one.

Good point, but the graphic's help emerse you in the game. Also the moddels are not very detailed

 

Gameplay: From what I have seen the game does have resonable gameplay, but not much that is particuly different to other games

 

Mod comunity: Need I say anything

 

Replayabilty: I has lot's of modes but people are completing it in a matter of hours, I was hopping for longer games than that.

 

Story: Not sure on this one, but the story does not sound that good from what people are saying

 

 

When modded I suspect it will be a good game but I have been let down by many RST's (not just SW one's) and feel that EaW still feels the same as others

I dont see any one having completed the Campaigne as Empire or Alliance yet Mega, dont know were you got that idea from, also instead of listeing to other poeple who are biased most of the time try making your own mind up.

 

Also i disagree, the graphics on the ships etc are very detailed, pends what graphics card your using etc.

 

Also far and few between its bette to make your own mind up, imo its worth geting let alone for the great mods that are also coming, like Legacy of War which we cna build SDD etc etc and more planets and other lovely things.

 

Though considering the era between the years before the Yavin SD destructios is rather dull and boring, and it was my favorite movie part either, though you get the point.

 

Look at the videos around and screenies from the game its much better then some of the games i see out thier, also thier realy hasent been a great SW game out for a long time, this is a good start and can only get better. But then again this is just my opinion.
