Death star glitch/ gas giant

i just got EaW & started galactic conquest with the empire

i have constructed the death star

after wich i sent i to yavin 4

it arrived

enemy base will be in range in 1 minute

3 secs after this rebellion withdraw in 60 seconds

i won the batlle but blew up yavin 4 in the galactic vieuw since i didn't have enough land forces to win

so my fleet set out to endor

when i arrived there

enemy base whil be in range in 15 seconds

YES

i manage to stall for 15 secs & use it

nice litlle movie of how the death star blows up endor

now the problem

It didn't blow up the forest moon of Endor but the gas giant of endor

resulting in planetary debris instead of burning gas clouds

or the destruction of the forest moon like it was supposed to be

 

i haven't patched yet

Gas Giants do actually have a rocky core.

How do you know it was the gas giant?  Wouldn't the gas giant be unable to support bases anyway?

lol if i understand u correct it s a logic problem which is silly to report because its simply plays no role to the game ....

i like the released game....(also got it today^^)

what i ment is that thee death star blew up the gas giant Endor & not the moon on wich the enemy base was

So you had the Death Star animation/movie and then the galactic planet was still there?

nope it ended up as planetary debris like it should be

but only the movie & the following tatical weren't above a destroyed forestmoon but above a destroyed gas giant

I've had plenty of battles where the planet blew up but not the moons.
