Darksythe Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 One thing you got to consider dont take what IGN say by the book thier reviwers are utter crap imo, the only site i trust to make a good Review is Gamespot, and on Gamespot it scores highley well around 9.4 with the users atm. I heard what was said in the IGN video, that guy had neither enthusiasim or the correct mindset to review EAW, he was mostly biased and sounded like he was realy board, also he never did any homework on EAW, his comment saying why Hoth battle isnt in etc and more stuff from movies shows he has a lack of looking around and seeing what the game was about atm and that all other stuff will come in an expansion. Darksythe Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 IGN knows jack S***t about the game ;D the game playes great, i got it today and im having a blast as the Empire atm in the Campaigne, its much larger scope then they say or even mention, the ships are balanced and are great looking in combat, cant get any better then this. Dont let the negativity of this one reviewer site get to you, seriusly its worth it imo. I havent had any stability issues or problems or bugs, im playing with 1.2 mind you but still, also i dont have graphics full cranked up atm but 80% thier or 90% and even then its great. vasuba_pff Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Id say they were bought off by EA. its pretty obvious they were bias. if you look they complain about the groudn game graphics. and the screenshots they show of the ground game for the review they posted look bad but are also obviously set to low on all graphics settings. As MJ just showed you CoH definitely outclasses EaW in the visual department (not to mention physics and other things).
