they are doing as told Release date is the 16th so legally they arent supposed to til then. Lucasarts if it wanted to could lay the major smackdown on any store selling it early.

 

Ebgames is shipping them to consumers today who ordered online so those who did next day get it tommorrow and if you got it via fedex youll likely have it at your door even before stores open

Well I think Lucasarts has to much on their plate to have this worry them. I pre-ordered it at the store 2 weeks ago and like I said am going to pick it up now. I don't know whats going on but I think I lucked out. Or maybe if you pre-ordered you get it a day early  :-\. Just a thought.

nope i paid for mine last year in full, yet i am told by all 3 local game stores "yes we have it but cant sell it till tmw" i said i already bought it so you already sold it lol i just wana pick it up, and they repeat the same line.

yeah a street date is a legal issue with a producer. Stores can be in big trouble for releasing it. More the coroporate company then the little stores though. Most stores dont care because is the buyer going to report them? not likely.
