I am just woundering how hard the deathstar will be to build.Will you ave to wait till you are most of the way though the campain before you can build it .will is be able to be built in skimish mode.

Lastly I guess it will move really slowly.Does anyone know if it will take 2-4 times the speed of normal ships to get to planet to planet???thanks

The DS can only be built from a Lvl 5 space station when you have control of Kashyyk and Geonosis.  As Far as I know it is the same speed as all the other units.

Yes, you have to have tech level 5 and 20K or 15K if the Emperor is on the planet.

 

Also, the Death Star move noticeably slower that other ships.

If you want to get a taste of the Death Star a little early, play the "Alderaans Demise" galatic conquest as Empire. Play in easy if you just want to have fun blowing up planets. It is very easy to build in the scenario.
