They had a bunch of area shield generators that all overlapped. The mon cal also had this, but they had redundant shield generators. Anyone remember that the hardpoints were going to have their own shield and health? I wonder how long ago that was nixed? Phantom_pff Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 Well, if you remember, in the demo at least, the republic ship (the one form EP.2 i forget the name) has not shield generator, you just have to keep pounding away at it to keep it's shields down and then destroy it.
Sir_Baron Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I was also confused as to why the mon cal didn't have a shield generator and by the time i realised it didn't actually have one my bombers died :bleh:.
