They had a bunch of area shield generators that all overlapped. The mon cal also had this, but they had redundant shield generators. Anyone remember that the hardpoints were going to have their own shield and health? I wonder how long ago that was nixed? But thats my personal feeling. Phantom_pff Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 Well, if you remember, in the demo at least, the republic ship (the one form EP.2 i forget the name) has not shield generator, you just have to keep pounding away at it to keep it's shields down and then destroy it.
