Weather in EaW

Today I was talking about the weather with a friend of mine. the weather in eaw of course 

 

I do know, that sandstorms decrease the effectiveness of rockets and that rain decreases the effectiveness of blasters or lasers. and when sun is shining everything is just cool.

 

Does anybody know which effects Snowstorms or blizzards and rain of ash have?

afaik electrical storms stopped hover vehicles from functioning.

The Text in the .Dat file says they both interfere with weapon accuracy and visibility. 

 

For visibilty, the sight range can be reduced between 30% and 70% for both snow and ash.  I haven't found any other info on them yet, I'll keep looking but there are a couple thousand text files and the utility I'm using to read them doesn't have a search feature.

Ok, found a bit more....it was really close, didn't look hard enough, LOL

 

Snow/blizzard = reduces vehicle sight range 30% - 70%

Ash = reduces Infantry sight range by 30% - 70%

Rain = reduces accuracy of lasers and vehicles by 30% - 70%

Wind/sandstorms = reduces rocket accuracy and infantry accuracy by 30% - 70%

 

I'm not sure what determines how much percentage is used on each map.  Probably each planet has a certain percentage it uses.
