Umm, look at the movie list in the members forum, basically everything there that includes dialogue.

 

Also we need voice talents for the advisors (MonCal and Imp officer).

I practiced the Ackbar voice a bit, so I could do the MonCal, if nobody else wants to do it.

Oh Shsss! I'm sure Maskiness can warp and distort a sound file for a Stormtrooper file at least! If you're worried, record your 'bit' speaking through something that will muffle you voice or the like, failing that smoke 20 or so camels in as many five minute segmants; it tends to lower your octive range considerably, mix with careless beer consumption; and WOO! You're ready to voice over any part of rebellion!

 

Later tonight, perhaps i'll attempt to replicate the entire R2-D2 squeeks and whistles i've heard in the game. Any that I can't achieve poisoning myself by smoking and shagging my liver consuming unhealthy quantities of beer; i'll round up my cat and record him as I squeeze and torture him... err...umm... perhaps not...err...

 

No seriously, RECORD SOUND FILES YOU MUST! The more Mask has the better! Come on dudes, flood him with stuff we must, this is going to be the TC thrown large at the whole Star Wars community; our efforts from this web site, we can't have the same people voicing every role in the game! Think of the fame! Lucas Arts; despite their indifferance probe sites concerning their games as a course of copyright! Someone there is going to have a look at our project!

That's a safe bet, since I recently asked Mike Gummelt (Raven, JKII-III) a bit about the scripting language of JKII.

 

TK, I received your mail I think if I lower the voice a bit and use an effect from the Cool Edit library you should sound like the stormtrooper in no time

Interesting...I just now found these threads. I knew about the project, but I figured you had to be 'in the know' to even look at the postings.

 

I'll give a few of these a shot over the weekend. Can't promise anything, since finding enough quiet time to do it (sans wife, baby & 3 yr. old) can be a challenge. Still...I kinda like the idea of characters in the SW universe having a Texas drawl. Maybe that "snotty Imperial officer #1" could sound more like Dubya...
