Better then opening and closing a game 50 times in a row just to find out that a .tga isn't working properly  :P (Example: SH3). Well it also beats the computer reloading up the game 50 million times after adding units and such that you modded in and testing how it reacts and such cutting the time by oh, 2 weeks  ;D

yeah i used to do that with generals.. and if i got a line of code wrong it would go

Error ,, Blah blah blah blah..

game wont start.. and it makes a log of it.. that sometimes helps a bit

but map editor pretty much tells u what is wrong. :D

hopefully well get something like this in EAW

Wow. Complete proof that the game is designed to be mod-friendly. That'll save a lot of time...

why would it crash if u reloaded changed the xml while in a game.... it should detect the changes.. and if it asks ..then there is no reason to crash unless the code is wrong..

maybe it just doesnt check... i guess to stop cheating..

... so crash :/

but what i would love to see.. is maybe a map editor where u can test out a new unit u made.. and tweak teh code for it at the same time.

If it crashes (an exception occurred), it's because something in the xml code is wrong.
