Boo, freekin hooo.  The Pentium wasn't even designed when I was 16.  The best I could hope for was nintendo.  I did stay up pretty late playing Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior, Mario Bros, ah, those where the days.

Back in my day they didn't have t.v. s and the most "fun" we got was doing chores!!

I used a 486 with Windows 3.1 up until one year before XP came out.  A colecovision (similar to the original Atari) is still the newest tv console my family has.  My first TV was one of the first color TVs that could support channels higher than 18, and is still in use in my family's basement.  To be somewhat fair, we did get a DVD player early on in their existence (pre region codes).

ooooooh. this is the saddest thing yet:

 

I tried to borrow SC from my friend but he lost the CD but he still had the expansion. So I took the expansion and was going to borrow it from someone else. But when my brother saw it he wanted to go buy SC so after his basketball game he and my mom whent to by it. (This is the sad part) When my mom saw that it was rated T for blood & gore violence and strong launguage she said that we could'nt play a game that had "strong language" in it. Even though I had borrowed the game before and it only swears every now and then in the campagin. so yeah...... now I can't even play some "T" rated games..... sad.....

LoL that is sad mate, i can play and watch whatever i want when i want im 17 and my parents can't stop me because in England there isn't that sort of ban in Britain. i can play all i want as long as i have good grades (nothing below a b and i know you euro people think school here is easy but i beg to differ)

and because my parents are gamers if the game is rated m they play it and if they think it is ok i do they don't look at the rating and say OMG!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!??!!??!?!?!!!! rated m for giant muffins eating people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(i have played a game like this it was all in Japanese though)

My homework is usualy done before I leave school(mostly due to the fact I have Algebra I(fyi: if anyone wants to know, that in my school means the math class for the smart students) last. We usually finish all the work he plans for us near the 20 minute mark so I spend the rest of class doing homework ;D )

well you see we have this class called study skills in my school and all freshman have to take it, and in this class all you do is sit and listen to an old, smelly woman go on and on about how we will fail in life if we don't remember that tying a string around your finger is a technique for improving your memory(or looking like a foll who had a horrible shoe tying accident) so in this abhorrent class i simply do all homework that doesn't require research!! ;D yay for worthless classes!!!!!!!!!!! ^(^_^)^

Yeah I had the same problem too when I was around that age but my shool decrease really sucked at this time so in the end I'm glad my parents made that decision. Now I'm attending university, have my own appartment and just wish I just would have some more time to play games

Damn Olympics. Why, you ask? The Olympics are a fine sports event, you say. The biggest sport here in Finland is hockey. So, as hockey is a part of the Olympics we should be happy. But no. Due to a number of injuries, our team has lost its three best goalies, and one of them is one of the best in the game, Miikka Kiprusoff. And as if that wasn't enough, we've lost two great wingers, Sami Kapanen and Tuomo Ruutu, and two great defensemen, Ossi Väänänen and Joni Pitkänen.
