Juggernaut1985 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I may be the only person to think this but when I call in reinforcements and they are near an enemy ship, they can strip the shield all the way down AND take out a hardpoint without even looking like they(the enemy) fired many shots. Certainly not enough to kill the shield that fast. Another thing. When I was playing, I had some mon cals and behind them were some transports.....guess what the Mon Cals shot at even when I told them to shoot at the ISD in front of them.....ya the transports. Shouldn't player orders over-ride that? Fighters I noticed when you move a group of ships the fighters stay in the back going slow, not going forward like they should. And Accuracy.....are the gunners just shooting wildly? In the SW Universe you think you could hit a target..... Thats my piece for now. Anyone else see these things?
Jmaster3265 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I thought this forum was for technical help.... http://img74.imageshack.us/img74/1135/jmaster3265signew13rd.jpg

Certainly not enough to kill the shield that fast.Yeah that happens to me too. When ships come out of hyperspace can they even have their shields on in SW cannon? I dont understand why they make reinforcing ships so weak.Another thing. When I was playing, I had some mon cals and behind them were some transports.....guess what the Mon Cals shot at even when I told them to shoot at the ISD in front of them.....ya the transports. Shouldn't player orders over-ride that? What was the angle of the mon cals to the ISDs? If there is a target on, say the starboard side, and you target it, all the starboard guns will fire on it. The guns that cant get an angle on the target are maybe on auto mode or something and shoot anything.Fighters I noticed when you move a group of ships the fighters stay in the back going slow, not going forward like they should. That is a group thing I think. In alot of rts games now, if you select a group of different ships they will all move at the speed of the slowest member. Juggernaut1985 Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 Well the ship was in great range of the ISD but it wouldn't even move like I told it to, it sat there trying to kill the transports. And I'm not talking about movement speed per say but the fact the fighters huddle behind the ships instead of going forward to where you pointed them to go.
Teradyn_pff Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 The reinforcement thing is to make you bring your ships in where they are a bit safe. As for the accuracy, that has irritated me as well. The Tartan cruiser hits 1 out of 15-20 shots, but the correllian corvette misses about 1 out of 15-20 shots. This is incredibly unbalanced. The Tartan cruiser is not the only one that misses. Apparently Petroglyph thinks that the Empire can't hit the broadside of a Death Star. I had 2 Corellian Corvettes saunter right through a group of 3 Acclimators and an ISD to chew up my fighters hiding behind them. By the time they started bulls-eyeing my fighters they still had shields left, one was at 1/4 shield even. I am sorry, but I don't quite think that an ISD would have as much trouble with that ship. The Mon Cal seems to have perfect aim as well. What gives? My Death Star is bigger than your Death Star!"The XML is strong with this one!"http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/bg/type/0/teradyn.png
FleetAdmiral AK Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Face ot the rebels are better! The rebelion will bring peace to the galaxy! http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/sf/type/0/fleetadmiralak.png
MastaSpoofa Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Empire>NewRepublicOldRepublicRebellion ;D i also think that this is extremely unbalanced, lol i mean seriously, why cant the imperial gunners shoot anything? ESPECIALLY the corvette. Rebels arnt the best, the empire had the ability to choose the best of the brightest to gun for them. They had the entire galaxy to choose who was a good gunner and who wasnt. I am positive they had enough good gunners to fit on all their Batteries, and enough to be storm troopers. http://starwars.wikicities.com/images/thumb/7/73/300px-Imperial_Fleet.jpgLong live the Venator!
Dreayt Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 lol u miss the point that they seem to be clones........or aren t they ? i can t understand that......anyone a good explanation? ???
Megajames Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 A few stormies were clones but most were people that had signed up Evacuate, in our moment of triumph. I think you overestimate their chances. Please can you post a comment on My clone story, in fan fiction. http://pff.swrebellion.com/index.php?topic=2306.0 (\_/)(O.O)(> <) This is Bunny.
