No Teradyn. I'm more concerned with pathing problems around the maps.

 

I think what we want to do in LOW is do a little scaling to make the SSD work.  Once we have the full game, we will see what all we can get away with in that department.  We may need to (and it should be possible) to have selection tags on the smaller corvettes and have them be built in groups.  Naturally with changes like that we would have to modify the number of fighters in the groups and that has already been done successfully in the demo.

hehehe, I want a Rebel Lusankya version. They painted the entire thing white and than painted two huge Rebel Insignia on the top and bottom in Red.

Any chane on seeing that thing close up of say the bridge so we get a good idea how good the graphics would be when zoom in.

It will be canon sized, a Rebel Level 5 Space Station is around the same size. And in canon it wasnt exactly the easiest to deploy and use thing either. So even if it was huge it would still be like its supposed to be.

Erm, aren't we forgetting that the stations don't actually move?? Also speaking of pathing, has anyone noticed that the collision methods are pretty crap for the demo (I noticed that when I took out an ISD and it was next to another relatively undamaged one. One section of the destroyed ones hull went straight through the hull of the other).

An easy way to sort the size problems is to shrink the normal other ships that are smaller then the SSD and make SSD as big as the space station, but Space stations also have to come down in size as Space stations are extreamly small compared to the SSD lol.

I think that had to do with the scaleing, the units get larger so you can see them but the collision radius dosen't, I'm sure it will be fixed

That would be awesome! Though probably, you would have to have it so the rebels capture the ship using a hero like solo or something....

If the Imperials knew that theyd loss the War against the Rebels wouldnt they take Lusyanka out of its hiding place and not allow it to get captured by the REbels? i dont know the Story of the Lusyanka so i dont know if Rebels got her or what happend lol?

 

Pritty sure though that imperials would have taken her before the Rebels ever reached coruscant so, also the Rebels or the New Republic as they were knowen then or when ever would have never used any imperial ship's as they were a Symbol of the old Reigim and thuse Terror Machines or seen as such so they wouldnt have used it, imo that is.

The rebels took the planet and captured it. thats why I'm saying that it should be added in the mod a rebel version of a SSD.

No, the Rebels captured it after the Tyferra Crisis when 80 Proton Torpedoes smashed against its hull ripping its guts out. It was towed to a secret shipyard for repairs.

jup what Jugger said is correct i jsut read its history up, WEdge Antilles took command of her after she was repaired, but imo Rebels shouldnt get SSD's would unblance things to much imo.

Three years after the Battle of Endor, this warship fell under the command of Ysanne Isard. This ship was equipped with an unorthodox repulsorlift bed enabling it to lift off the surface of the planet. Captured by Thyferran and independent forces aligned with the New Republic. Its exact ownership after that point is unclear, but (under command of General Wedge Antilles) Lusankya was decisive in capturing the Imperial planet Phaeda a few months following the demise of the last Palpatine-clone. Not just that. Mon Motha ordered the Lusankya to be Scrapped after it was captured. You find in the NJO  books that The Alliance command  delibertly ignored her and kept the fact they were slowly repairing it a total secret. Mon mothma was opposed to using anything of the Empires as it was a symbol of the Empire.

 

She was opposed to making new Imperial Class star destroyers etc. thats why you dont read about brand new ones in that period being made until shes dead. The Republic in alot of ways suffered cause of her views on that. had the republic kept up military might the war couldhave been far different.

I'm going to have to disagree with that, Wasn't Leia using an ISD(Rebel Dream I think was the name) as her flagship for awhile during the books that involved the SSD Iron Fist(I can't remember the warlord's name)

 

Also, the rebels used an Interdictor Cruiser that had defected(Corusca something) in their attack on Coruscant.

Early on especially they kept ships they captured or recieved through Defection but Mon mothma was completely against building new ones. The Super Star Destroyer was a case where she didnt even want to allow it to remain as it was the ultimate show of what the Empire was.

 

In Rebel Dream i think the book is Leia and Han are surprised to learn the Lusankya still existed as even they thought it had been scrapped as Mon mothma ordered. Early on the fact they had captured Star Destroyers etc they couldnt afford to get rid of them they were major boosts to the Alliances military which did get beat pretty hard at Endor even though they won in the end.
