Re: Searching for codes

Since I can now think freely till Feb 1 I thought I would search for codes that are related to my mod.

 

- Looking for Boba Fett's jetpack code for my mechs since they have the ability to fly short-long distances. (I'll do this myself unless someone wants to post Boba's codes here)

 

- Also looking to confirm if I can use the same unit in space without changing texture or unit type and not causing a crash (Mechs not heroes). (story mode)

From what I have seen of the way units are defined, you should be able to add this as an ability for any unit.  If you want to test this out Ghostly, you proabably want to try and see if you can give this ability to an AT-ST as that unit has pretty much the frame type you will be dealing with in your mod.

 

I am half tempted to do this to an AT-AT though :)

Have you extracted the .meg files into their respective pieces yet?  If not, you need too.

 

Extract? What?  ??? All I know how to do is just open up files and configure them..........

Good grief Ghostly, go to the Mod forum and look in one of the stickies.  A couple of extractors are available that let you extract the files that are compressed in the .meg files.  This way you can edit individual .xml files one at a time.  Sheesh, boy, don't make it so hard on yourself. ;)

Aint my fault theres so many topics  ;D  (censoredx40), well i'm stuck since I downloaded the same extractor 5 times with the same crap.

Anywho if anybody wants to fiddle around for me with both space and land version of a flying AT-ST then be my guess.  :-[

I searched every possible place and used Notepad, wordpad, .dat tool, .meg extracter and still cant find what you guys are finding. I did manage to do this tho  ;D

;D Tried it again with more edited words and well only my 2 pwnage messages I had before showed  ;D Ok i'm still having difficulties in finding the damn AT-ST codes to mess around with. What tool  :P

 

Oi not even my friend didn't want to help me  ??? Is it that annoying to do ?

edit: Didn't mean that annoying but is it that hard such as adding new "commands" or "features" ?

Well seems like the AT-ST codes to make it fly is harder then it seems since nobody let me know  ::) Ok then I can wait  ;D Just i'm a impatient person at times since i'm the person who opens up a game box when purchased  :P Anywho I hate how school haunts me in my sleep since I didn't hand in something and well I got in crap.

/shamelessly asks for a AT-ST flying Prototype unless it cant be done in the demo then this will stop till full game  ;D

That ruins a realistic credit system.

 

Anyway I been finding removed stuff. Just found the Viraggo as a starting force in SMs campaign file Demo, same with the crow.

You can have over a million credits ... just checked. No idea where the limit is though.

 

Are you sure that you didnt just see the effects of the ?

Defined in GameConstants.XML, and is set to 40,000, so 11 planets owned would give a current credit ceiling of 440,000 credits.

Looked into the credit limits a little more.

 

I have had 99 Million credits per days and a Galactic Credit reserve of 1,100 Million credits, before I gave up testing. For so many galactic credits, the number overwrites the population icon, solved by changing the font used for displaying the Galactic Credit Reserve.

 

Only things I changed to increase the cresits was in GameConstants.XML and the in Planets.XML.

Can I tax the income ?  ;) 100 credits per day  :P Hey wonder if thats possible with Cain's mod which gives you more teams. For multiplayer story mode create 2 more sides which are minor and they recieve 100 taks from your income if allowed  ;D  Common full game, come so I can get my flying AT-ST  ;D
