Silent Hunter 3 & 4

Didn't care much about mods for this game since I haven't beaten the campaign or lived long enough to see the end of the war.

 

If there is a mod to make my people more real then i'll have a look or to add more ship types then i'll have a look. Well tried putting up a new poster but my crew seems to be putting it down and keepign the old one  :-\ Maybe its just the scenerio  ???

I had no choice but to deck gun it with my last torp which got wasted but helped sink it. But that caused damage to my Sub's rear end, flak gun and got a death.

I've heard that Silent Hunter 3 uses Starforce and that Starforce is pretty ****ed up. Can anyone here confirm or deny this?

I've had it mess up my PC but all in all a simple solution allowed me to boot up my computer after all.  It's more of a hassle than anything and yes there are some adverse effects (I had to unplug my USB devices for it to boot).  However you can remove it so you could play the game and then remove StarForce.

 

P.S. Ghostly Supreme Commander got pushed back to Q1 2007 so that pretty much cements the fact that I will get either SH3 or SH4.

Hope SH4 will be good since the pacific wouldn't deliver much. I can imagine it being a flop so then i'ma have to wait. SH3 is your best bet so far and damn are those destroyers a pain in the butt in multiplayer. I HAD 3 stinkin Destroyers while The Saint has 1 to none  > I survived  ;D Since I made it down to 100 feet underwater.

They only went towards me because I fired 4 torps at one destroyer and well the destroyer found out where I was so I tried hiding but they kept swamping me then another came then another then anothre then you finally helped me out since I couldn't even fire cleanly  > I was too deep to fire torps  >

 

I also remember that torpedo of mine that went in circles and nearly owned me  :-\ wtf was up with that. You must of saw it. Good thing I saw it in the map or we would have been done 10 min earlier 

 

So should we create another game event this Saturday 11?  : Second scenerio. I'm gonna try out the mission editor to see if I can create something alone the coast of North America  ;D
