Question about modding

how easy will it be to install a mod from a website to the game itself, will it be an easy process of just clicking on an icon once down loaded.]

 

or will a particular unit need to be uploaded to a certain folder, i.e ssd put in imp folder for say level 4/5 tech so that way its doesnt appear on the reb side.

Given the history, you should only need to download one file and put it in your gamedata (or maybe? a mod folder), and that should be it.
