When i was think of moves when i was playing the demo but i just realized the potential of the special moves to draw away enemy fighters lock the espoils on the x wings and draw the fighters away from the caps or using the y wings to blast a hole in the imp fleet with the ion blast and charge up the middle with Neb Bs using their special shields. any thoughts on how to use these special abilities to pull off tatics

Well when the fleet jumps, the s-foils are already locked in attack position, to make them faster you need to set them to cruise, in which case I run my X-wing squads(4) along with my corvettes (4) ahead to engage enemy fighters and bombers. Behind them comes the Y-wings(4) sending two squadrons after each ship I use the ion cannons to cripple them long enough for the Neb Bs to come into range(2). Meanwhile my Y-wings are selectively targeting critical systems on both ships picking them apart by going for the shield generators FIRST. If its one thing about the imperial ships its that those shield generators are easy to knock out. After the Victory falls, everything is pretty much a piece a cake.

i sent in 3-4 corvettes to take out all the fighters fast then used there engines to get out before they took any serious damage.  i did a few runs of this it really helps thin out fighter squadrons.by the time i had all fighters gone the 3 corvettes were at about 55-70% armor then i just had them sit back a bit and recharge shields, and sent my nebulon-b frigates to take out the ships  after they  were targeted i sent the corvettes back in  to help lol.
