I liked how everything is layed out such as once you send a probe to a planet its discovered and you see whats there. Nice slots for spies and smugglers and also a raid slot. I got confused with the raid slot. Mistrider Posted January 19, 2006 Share Posted January 19, 2006 I love the demo, it rocks. I've played for about an hour and a half, did all the tutorials and I've played the GC somewhat. The space battle is fun as hell(done it 3 times, got owned the first time, won the second and third). But I have yet to get the hang of the land battle, only tried it once, and it was WAY too hectic. I'll be sure to try it some more tomorrow when I have the time. And when he reaches Heaven,To St. Peter he will tell,"Just another soldier reporting Sir,I've served my time in Hell." The graphics are amazing, the gameplay ronks, the units, the heros, hell, every single detail was done very nice. Its short, but it leaves you wanting more and more. I can't wait for Feb 16. You have to be careful with the large ships and bombers, they have very few hard points vs a realistic model (something I will be looking into fixing maybe). You can have a Mon Calamari taken out pretty easily if you don't watch out. The A-Wing has a very cool ability that "taunts" enemy fighters to attack it. I can see a string of these leading enemy fighters away into a nasty ambush before your enemy can react and save their stupid selves . AoErat gave himself a Death Star for the rebellion and blew up Tatooine in the Demo Campaign . Look here:There aren't any other maps, so there isn't much you can do asides from unlock the planets on the galaxy map, and mess with units. For example, I blew up Tatooine, got an AT-AT (not captured by Chewie), Star Destroyer, (a few for each side on the asteroid map), Mon Cal Cruiser, and some A-Wings, among other things. Ya but i can not target the hanger or the supply bay. I can destroy the hanger but i can not do more then 2% damage to the supply bay and i left teh game running for an hour on 2X speed and came back and there was still only 2% damage.
