Hi guys.. Bryant has graciously given us a "loaned" IPB 2.1.3, I installed it here:

The only thing that immediately popped out at me was that all "uploaded" avatars were deleted in the conversion process, although active people can upload them w/o a problem. If you guys have some time, login there and poke around (make posts, replies, etc, or whatever) and if Cain agrees I think we should move to IPB because I am tired of the log in problem.

 

Plus, there's **way** more moderator options in IPB, .

It's a "Simple Machines" forum install, this one seemed to be a lot nicer in my opinion. The skin isn't so bad either . My vote would go for this one IMO. It would also be quicker to move it since I could run a 5-minute script all by myself, heh.

Switch....LoW have no problems with Invision. Actually I like the setup much more than teh phpBB we are currently on.

 

Plus I keep on getting logged off

nice forum there and the only thing bothering me is the skin but I can get used to it. Sure lets move

No post mode specified error on the phpbb board like 4 times then it went away and the General discussion area is misssing from the IPB

Yes well I was enabling the Quick reply boxes on the forum and clicked the wrong link which deleted it. I've notified JI already.

It got accidently deleted and that forum runs smoother then this one so now i'm hanging out over there since this forum is booting me all the time.

Maybe its moon gravity related? Loll - Sometimes you must battle the forum with 2-3 logins to make a post - after that it calms down for a while...

I'm useing Explorer - it must be something inside the server. Maybe JI should try to reinstall the forum? Will this work? maybe the error will be lost in the procces.

Yes I was just making an example. Well we could always use the stable Invision boards. Just change the skin and its all good Or we could always go back to forumer Choice is up to you guys.

I can't change it - I have no clue from were. We need JI to do it and we need a better skin.
