Why was the option for orbital bombardment taken out or will it be optional under particular circumstances? (2) If blockades could be enforced, how long would it take before a world surrenders of its own free will? (3) With the selling point of being able to change history, would it be possible for the Empire to not only prevent the Alliance from stealing the X-Wing, but eventually incorporate that craft into its own Navy? (4) Has the extended time before release been completely taken up with overhauling the maps or has there been a simultaneous effort to polish and stabilise the game engine and/or AI itself? (5) Were the final population cap levels decided on a basis of wanting to force the player to be more inventive, or were they more in the interests of preventing a massive slow-down in computer performance? Will there be an option to alter them in the game, depending on computer performance?

I assume you were talking about something else because of your response to lordstorm88 post. I think it is only bombers like Y-wings and Tie bombers can attack on land missions. Are bombing runs linked to units in orbit over a world (1 Tie Bomber Formation = 1 Bombing Run every set amount of time) and if so can their destruction on the land map prevent their further use? The Relentless Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Curse you, Ghostly, my question #5 was not whining about the Venator! As you know, I haven't said one negative word about the Venator being removed. I was merely asking about the Acclamator, I'm sure most of us are wondering why it is in the game if the Venator is not. The actual question was towards the Acclamators capabilites as a transport, will it have troop carrying abilities. Since that would be the only logical reason it was picked over the Venator I think we should ask. Go Leafs go!
