Cain Posted January 3, 2006 Share Posted January 3, 2006 According to Dave S. the EAW Demo will be made available by the LEC PR Dep sometime between 1/13/2006 and 1/20/2006. We did hoped that the LEC PR guys will prepare them self in advance for the Demo release ... but its seems that they still have to polish the event. Do not confuse like other fans the EAW developers or the LEC developers (they did their job well) with the LEC PR guys. They are a different departament and the Demo was ready as predicted - its just a matter of PR now. The General FAQ doesn't list a date either. The information I always got was "we're working on one" and "it's coming soon". However today they told me that they are expecting to release it in mid to late January. I'd wager they'll give me a date between 1-13 and 1-20 when they tell me what it is. But at least by the time we get the demo the actual game will be only a few weeks away. If it makes it better... delay it. Okay people let's not turn this into an "Oh! I cant wait!" thread. VaderisGreater Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 people got their hopes up because other people who had no concrete information would post that they were "sure" that the demo was done, or being released. we heard many rumors from people who supposedly had the inside scoop. i think next time we need to be more cautious as to who we believe. Also, he didn't even give a date, just a guess at when he was getting a date. He could tell us, it's going to be released feb 17. so we shouldn't get our hopes up. a mod should change the thread title so no one gets their hopes up and to control rumors.
