no its not it came from a magazine junker just bought so theres no questioning its authentic but we (Fosh and ME) think that it means you can capture damaged vessels.

Hey guys I'm not trying to rain on your parade or anything, but just some observations here.

 Monthly magazines are not randomly thrown together every week. This month's magazine could have been with information gotten a month ago.

With this in mind:

 A month ago was before the new SW: EaW official site. When the site was made it had the Venator in. However the Venator disappered 3 weeks ago, or after the magazine article might have been finished.

It is possible that that screenshot is a month old, in which case it is possible that the Venator still not is in the game. To be honest I'm pulling for it as much as the rest of you, but I'm just trying to give a bit of caution too. I really hope I am wrong. Here's to hoping the Venator is in the game. :)

So it is. I can't confirm anything. I can only post this screen which is now in a magazine.

This magazine have only the known screens and got never exclusive screens.

But for this preview they got a visit from Activision and they was able to play the first missions and tutorials. Maybe this is a screen of a mission, maybe this is an old screen which Activision gave the magazine together with some others and this was a mistake.

I will ask Activision Germany what the history of this screen is. ;)

Lol, sorry but I can't help you, I have not read the article and I'm absolutely not going to buy it online ^^.

Junker might give us more details, but I'm convinced that the pic is from this issue :).

What details do you want? In the whole preview there is no word about the venator.

But what I think (with a good look on the original picture in the magazine): The imperial ships are not fireing on the second venator. You see the clouds in front of the venator? This venator is not hurt or burning. In this clouds there are some small rebell ships like Corellian Gunships.

Maybe the second venator was used to scout, met the rebel fleet and changed his direction back to his own fleet.

ah ok didnt look that closely Junker but then you have the original foto so u can see it more clearly lol looking at it again it looks as if in the thick black cloud there is small craft.

Puzzling, the two venators are facing each other, and it looks like the patrol craft are firing on the one to the right. but it might be firing on the patrol craft

either way its confusing...

since PG are clearly keeping secrets, maybe the rebels can comandeer ships?

or maybe the right hand Venator is just retreating back to the safety of that formation from a fight its group lost?

and the laser bolts are just look like they are going to (or from) the venator because of the camera angle :?:

No matter what, if that is an up to date version of EAW they had, then the Venator would appear to be in. (hopefully it's been redesigned as a fleet carrier and not just another warship)

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese!

the venorator is for both sides. i heard that somewhere although i can't find where i read that. but i think they were very specific in saying that you can't capture ships.

They said in an interview "It wasn't in right now", but they didn't say it was not going to be in game. I think that was in a Q&A back in may.
