Set just before the very first Star Wars Film, you take control of Empire or Rebel forces in an RTS rumble. Relive the ground assaults on Endor and Hoth, or take control of fighters and Star Destroyers in space.The game opens with a scrap for the plans for a new prototype: the X-Wing. Rebel forces, using battle tanks and infantry, attack an Imperial outpost. With that opening mission complete, the rebels are free to choose their next target from a choice of fifteen different planets. Surface battles play like other Command & Conquer, but space battles offer something new. Tactics dependent on the mass and momentum of vast Star Destroyers, and using asteroid belts and dust-clouds as cover for smaller craft to approach and assault.
