Junker Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Today in the magazine PC PowerPlay you can find a short preview and some new exclusive Screens. They are very interesting. You can find them here in the news: sw-eaw.de On one of them you can see R2-D2 hacking an enemy turret. After his work the turret will fire on the imperial AT-ST and help you to win the mission. http://www.sw-eaw.de/jpg/banner6.jpg
Foshjedi2004 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Ummm. Question... WHY THE HELL ARE THERE JAWAS ON RYLOTH!!! Don't they know that Ryloth always faces the sun so the ground is burned to cinders. The Twi'leks live on the dark side in Warrens. JAWAS are indigenous to TATOOINE!! http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa197/knivesdamaster/tags/sith_omguserbar_member.jpg

Little.B Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 WHY THE HELL ARE THERE JAWAS ON RYLOTH!!! Because Jawas are nasty, litttle capitalists who simply want to take over the galaxy! (Third addon faction maybe?) Today Tatooine, tomorrow Ryloth... ... dont take it to serious http://www.pexsus.com/~littleb/eaw/banner_eaw.jpgFeel the ForceIRC (QuakeNet): #empireatwar
Popcorn2008 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 I'm begining to wonder if the grid looking planets are planets that simply havent been explored yet. On the official site in the movies we see for example, Korriban isnt a grid so im guessing it means unexplored. I dont like Kessel or Korribans location, I always thought of them to be further out in the outer rim lol. Also the planets look too aligned, I would favor an uneven design to make it look more galatic, such as have a cluster of planets at one spot than maybe one or two lone planets. See what I mean? http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg> Petroglyph Forums Moderator> LucasForums Moderator
Junker Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 On the homepage of the magazine I found the original screens. So have a new look on them. You can see much more details on them now. Follow the link in my first post. http://www.sw-eaw.de/jpg/banner6.jpg
Banditu Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Why are the currencies in $? I mean it's the Star Wars Universe they should put credits or just figures but not $. http://superpower2.free.fr/credit.JPGAm i the only one disturbed by this?

Popcorn2008 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Good point, they could use ¢ for credit, even though that usually means cents but you know what I mean, or they could have simply made up a symbol. But alas, I shall not weigh my mind down with such small details lol. http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg> Petroglyph Forums Moderator> LucasForums Moderator
Siddus Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Welcome to Mc Empire !I gonna take two ISD and 40 AT-AT! Here you are ! http://gadgets.3yen.com/wp-content/images/star_wars_credit_card_z3.jpg
Popcorn2008 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Yeap the grid planets are unexplored. I can almost make sure of it, if you look at the small map in the lower left the planets that are grey are also the planets that are grid like in the display. And the planets that are colored, look like normal planets. http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg> Petroglyph Forums Moderator> LucasForums Moderator
Havok9120 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Still....you gotta wonder what the yellow planets are. Green is friendly, we know that. We can assume red is hostile, and grey is unexplored...that points to yellow=neutrel...and perhaps that points to dimplomacy. Btw...I pumped the preview into Google Translator, but I gave up tryin to read what came out after the first couple of sentances lol.

For example, Korriban is yellow and it is a lifeless world. Good thinking I didnt even think about the color coding. http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg> Petroglyph Forums Moderator> LucasForums Moderator
Teradyn_pff Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 No diplomacy... not unless they change their tune very suddenly and not much time for that. My Death Star is bigger than your Death Star!"The XML is strong with this one!"http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/bg/type/0/teradyn.png
Phantom_pff Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 No the yellow would mean neutrel, in one of the earlyer intervews it was said that not every planet would start allied to a faction, but through conquest or missions they will join you. ps: it's not that hard to read on google, you just need to read it slowly.
Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 i'm also worried about where the planets are placed can some one rearrange them please delphi because i dont like to moan about things being to OT but the planets should at least be in there true place. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!

In space it is out of 20, in land out of 10. But in the first picture on the galatic map, it is out of 66, and that might be for just alderaan. What do you guys think?
