Extra Content (Attention all SWBF2 players)

Well it looks like all Xbox Live users will receive downloadable content this week and the ability to buy a small expansion for $4.99 through Xbox Live. The bad part so far is that no news about PC download or PS2 has been anounced. This free content includes 2 new heroes, and the ability to play assault mode on Kasyyhk. The $4.99 Brings back old favorite maps such as Bespin and Rhen Var. So far im angry at the fact that PC has been completely ignored since that is the version I have. Hopefully they release the content to PC gamers quickly.

I think instead of making us PC gamers pay for the extra stuff they should just add in the maps and heroes in a patch.

They should but they won't.All LA cares about is making money. Right now people are raging on the LEC forums. So far it has been held back by the admins but it is only a matter of time before a spam/complaint war starts.Most likely the content will be xbox only however I hope I am greatly mistaken.

Sorry I double posted this subject, I didn't notice cause I was so angry. This has to be the best expansion LA has ever come out with (not saying much), and now 3/4 of the community has no access to it. THis pisses me off!! This was everything that was missing from SWBF2 in the first place!

Well with the game Battlefront 1 LA released the map Jabba's Palace with the 1.02 patch, so I was just hopeful they would include the other stuff in a patch.

It's a shame they ignore PC users constantly. For example they released an X-Box Battlefront I and II demo but none for any other platform, and now this? It cannot be that hard to just change up the patch for at least the PC, I mean the game is programmed on a PC no matter what platform you change it to.

These maps needed to be in the game in the first place, and not in some damned Xbox only "expansion". They even have the nerve to make you pay more money for it! There is no reason they can't port it over to PC and the other consoles as well. It's rediculous and absurd!

Meh i've already gotten over it. Complaining is not going to fix the problem just make it worse if it forces the dev's and such to rush to release it for everyone else. I suspect they let out xbox because A)Make some quick cash B)Beta test it on the Xbox players first C)Xbox was left out of the updates on SWB1 so this may be a way to make up with them. Hopefully all the new additions will be downloadable soon.

I guarantee more PC versions were sold then xbox so this is really a crock of shit. if your gonna release new maps etc you do it for all or none. This is just another example of why I loathe Lucasarts now. I used to like them as a company but they are scum now

WE SHOULD not Pay, kinda a shame I don't have live though:((router not supported and I don't have enough wires to make it work without using the router)

(wish you were able to download updates if you didn't have live)

Update - On the LEC forums in the Xbox details annoucement that news will be soon released about the expansion for the other consoles.
