Although working in the games industry sounds great, being a developer means long hours, working all weekend, even probably over Xmas. EaW (not surprising I guess but..) gets my full support and this demonstrates that Lucasarts also want to get this right before release. DMUK That is the job they signed up for, and they are compensated well for it. Ive worked on a game where it was days from going gold and then....the ground opened up and swallowed us whole when QA found a bug which took weeks to sort out. All games have an ETA for release and sometimes, games never even make it. You pick up a copy of last years PC gamer, and see how many games hit their street date. That set alot of high expectations and the last thing you want to hear after expecting that is for a delay in the release. Now the Releasedate is the year 2666 (duke make this happen *g*) I really wait for the Demo and I hoped for the releasedate for The Demo as the news.The News id not match my hopes but i am glad that EaW does not have a delay from several years like Duke Nukem or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. als two Games for example.
