The GeForce 4 doesn't work with DirectX 9. The first geforce card to work is the 5200, I believe. Ahh, that sucks. My thinkpad is like that as well, with a 16mb sis card. Fortunantly, my desktop is more than good enough.

 

As for demo release, AoEIII's demo was released on a wednesday. Perhaps a 21st release date?

when they release the demo then they will release it as a update to the official siite with the Empire update that is sure to come next. so my bet is Next friday the 23rd or maybe the Sat 24th (X-mas eve).
