Map count Confirmation

I just confused myself again by thinking about a planet map count.

 

There is about 43 planets

1 Space map per planet

2 land maps per planet

 

or is it

1 Space map

1 land map per planet

shouldn't there be more than 2? so that you can't have a force set up for one of two strategies?<-just an opinion btw

One map supposably is the battle for the Landing Zone while the second is attacking the base. At least that was the impression I got.

lol that could have changed Ghostly as the Dev's got to work on it. it may have been that they decided that it wasn't worth the trouble to fight for the LZ as well on a seperate map so they scrubbed the idea.

Are you guys saying that the original plan was to have a map for the LZs, and another one for the shield generator? That wouldn't be much different from having the LZs and the shield on the same (bigger) map.
