NMA Project- Heroes PlayGround [HPG]

Well since my skill is mostly in map making I will be making at least one hero map where heroes help one another and try to survive as long as possible against enemies each round. You may be thinking I may be doing to many mods at a time but my G-Mini mod is in production and this one I will actually force myself to do. The EAW Faction pack is more of a community job so I offered my ideas and waiting for the game to come out.

 

Basic Information:

 

Note: I am assuming I can mod this into the map :roll:

 

:arrow:Arena Map: Well it will be an inclosed area where you will get swarmed by units which grow in number each round. They will swarm YOU and other hero units. I'm still thinking on how to set it up just incase heroes dont get an advantage.

:arrow:Heroes:Every single land hero will be available that can provide strategie and advantages to you and your fellow hero friends. Your hero will have 5 lives so use them sparingly.

:arrow:Rounds & Health: After each round your hero will be given a chance to heal up and depending on how the bacta tank heals the timer will be set to allow half health healing.

:arrow:Deaths: As I said you will have 5 lives to have fun with. If you die you restart after the round is done when heroes use the Bacta tank. If this isn't possible then once you die you return after a set timelimit.

:arrow:Traps/treasure: (If Possible) I would add a trap and treasure chests for heroes to look in and I will also add a buidling for Mechs being produced so if you have enough credits won and didn't die you would be able to have another unit to help fend off the incoming wave of units.

 

FOR SKIMMING PEOPLE

You try and survive as long as possible while you aid your hero friends and they aid you while fending off normal units attacking you.

Playable Heroes for Ground:

 

:arrow:Han Solo and Chewbacca - disabling and stealing enemy swarming vehicles

:arrow:Kyle Katarn - Lightsaber? Shooter and Bombs

:arrow:Obi-Wan Kenobi - Kills the swarm and heals your friends

:arrow:R2-D2 and C-3PO - repairs any vehicles you captured

:arrow:Boba Fett - Burns the swarm and sets up bombs

:arrow:Darth Vader - Lightsaber, Force push, and force crush

:arrow:Emperor Palpatine - Lightning

:arrow:Mara Jade - Turns the swarm against themselves and lays bombs

:arrow:Maximilian Veers - In his AT-AT producing counter troopers.

 

Side note:

Now lets hope I can get help in creating a spawn and an invincible building that will keep spawning more and more units until round 100 then restarts the build cue of a single trooper group to thousands with tanks as escorts. Depending on how long we can get you to heal up using the Bacta Tank will be an average in how long. Light side heroes will be able to work with dark side heroes and vice versa since after all this is a heroes playground :P

Thats a cool idea but would it be like a mission where u do spacific tasks or kind of like dont die and kill kill kill everyone also who would be the enemy if the allience and empire heros are on the same side

Hero units would be working as a team survival mode style. All heroes are stuck in a arena or some blocked off area and have to defend themselves against some rogue units. Yes even vehicles but the heroes will have some anti-vehicle help on their side such as Veers AT-AT and bombers, Han/Chewie, Anti-Vehicle turrets.

 

Heroes vs troopers and vehicles and waves of them.

Instant heal eh?  Well then that throws things off since I was expecting something like a long period heal like the AT-AT with the vehicle repair turret. Well seems like I would have to somehow block it during AI unit raids  ;D Thoughts at how I should do this from what you guys experienced? Land battle wise.

 

edit: Hmm well heroes did die on me fairly easy so I guess having the bacta tank on a timer would help. Every 5 min it would have healing abilities and cant reuse it until that 5 min expires. If that is even possible.  ???
