lol ok so the TIE's the flimsyest but they are still easy to kill they're worse than Y-wings.

I can still kill about 18 X-Wings to a TIE Interceptor in X-Wing Alliance. The pilots skill is the most important aspect of a dogfight, most people think that the Rebellion has the advantages in that area but they only have a couple of extrodinarily gifted pilots while each Imperial pilot is trained to the highest standard.

Of course the Imperial pilots also have a much shorter expected lifespan .

yes they maybe Highly trained but the fighters let them down most of the time because the best pilots that they had with the exception of the 181st. Defected.
