i like number 4. but number 5 is just a bit of a waste if you want to know that ask Delphi he'll be able to tell you.

1. Are we going to see more heroes than the ones we know already?

 

2. We remember hearing a interview from E3 about recording video from ingame. Exactly how will this work ? Will we be able to record freely or will it just be normally recorded and the user able to freeroam around it ?

 

3. Will we have to replace the existing units when adding new units created in Mods, or can we actually add them in the unit list using the XML Files? Also are we able to add in another faction without overwriting another faction?

 

4. Was it always planned that the game's timeline would be 2 years before Ep 4 and go to the end of Ep 4?

 

 

5. Will the Stormtroopers sliding down from the AT-AT cost anything or are they free? Or is there a limit of how many Stormtroopers you can create from the AT-AT ?

ok then number 4 doesn't get sent and number 5 wasnt being added anyway. and can fosh stop pushing the XML Files question please Ghostly's already said that that one isn't going to be sent.

I dont know about that list either. That question 4 is more of a curiosity issue and doesnt directly involve the game itself.

 

I backup fosh in wanting the XML question, I think it can be answered.

How is 5 a waste? The G.A.M.E spokes person from Lucasarts was saying things and I couldn't really tell what was true and what was examples. Well find another question to replace my #5 question :)

it's somethng that Delphi can clear up next time he's on the forums Ghostly sorry but i cant see the justification to add that to the list but if more than one mod is for both sides we need Cain or an Admin to decide if it should go but i cant say becasue i'm not a moderator i'm just doing your job for thhis topic.

How about:

 

5. We have heard that there is a timer ability on the ATATs and ISDs for Storm Troopers and TIE fighters. What Exactly does this timer mean? Does it mean that they produce a never ending supply or they release their complements over a period of time instead of all at once.

why doesn't it get made more broad scale like:

when other Unit's produce units from them will it cost the player anything? and is there a limit to how many units it can create?

I have a question that wasn't asked right in our (EaW.net) Q&A:

 

Is it true that the game will end at ANH as was said by Delphi a few months ago? And I mean the game here, not the Tech Tree, I have no problem with that.

 

I have yet to see someone correct his statement yet, so I'm beginning to think this is the case.

I dont know, I think we pretty much know. On the official EaW Faq it says this:

Where in the Star Wars timeline does the game take place?

EAW begins at a time when the Rebel Alliance is still fledging but becoming a greater threat to Imperial control and goes through to the end of the movie Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope. In the Star Wars timeline it begins at a few years before the battle of Yavin and ends with the destruction of the first Death Star (or destruction of the Rebel Alliance).

3.Here's a question I have, can you use diplomacy to add planets to your side, or do you have to invade the ground portion in order to gain the planet?

Please, that's just silly. The Empire doesn't stop existing just because the Death Star is destroyed. Come on.

 

I thought they said we would get full control over the faith of the galaxy, and then we don't even get to beat the Empire?!?

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled we get to destroy the Rebel Alliance, I'm a huge Imperial fan myself. So I'm happy with that. But this robs the rebel players the satisfaction of defeating the Empire propperly if you ask me.

Here are a bunch of questions that I've thought of:

 

1) Can you build shipyards which visually show your ships under different stages of construction? And, how long does it take (in game time and real time) to build a Imperial-Class Star Destroyer for example?

 

2) Can you build planetary shield generators to repel an invasion/bombardment until they are destroyed (i.e. Courscant)? If not, does the game engine support this so it could be added in a mod?

 

3) Are there tractor beam projectors on capital ships, allowing for the capture of enemy vessels?

 

4) Can you use your interdictors to pull an attacking enemy force out of hyperspace at the periphery of a planetary system (outer edge of a space map) and into an ambush?

 

Also, what function do they serve besides

a) Preventing enemy from retreating

b) Limited offensive capability

 

5) Does it take a realistic amount of time for your ships to travel from planet to planet?

 

6) Are there any plans of an expansion that would include the New Republic and/or New Jedi Order eras?

 

7) Is there a Second Death Star that can fire at capital ships(mabe an upgrade from the DS 1)?

 

8) Will you be able to upgrade your ships(i.e. ISD to ISD MkII)?

 

9) Will there be any way to customize your ships weapon and defensive configurations or the ability for units to gain experience?

 

10) Are X-wings and other such fighters hyperspace capable by themselves?

 

11) When a large ship is destroyed, are there escape pods (mabe you could collect them to regain some of the cost of your lost ship though the visual effect alone would be great)?

 

12) Will planets have gravity wells? (this would prevent your ships from being able to jump right above the planet and give the defender time to get ready)?

 

13) Will the shields on ships be slightly visible when taking damage or when viewed at a certain angle, like the Jedi Starfighter in EPII?

 

14) When is the demo going to be released?

 

15) Will there be any large orbital defense platforms, like the Golan III, capable of holding out against (multiple) capital ships?

 

16) Can you ram a ship as a sort of last ditch attack?

 

17) Are there multiple battlefields per planet?

 

18) Can some ships(other than the drop ships you’ve shown in the teasers), such as the Acclamator and Venator, enter a planet’s atmosphere to deploy large amounts of troops?

 

19) Is there a way to sneak a strike force past orbital defenders and onto a planet?

 

20) Will you have C&C style FMV movies and cut scenes with live actors and awesome graphics (please!!!)?

 

21) What is the player’s role? Is he a lowly commander at first, working his way up the ranks, or does he start out as a supreme commander?
