I dont know why but in all rts games i normal get own when i attack them head on i fine that if i let them attack me i can do so much damge to the enamy force that i can finsh them off fast (works in rome total war and lord of the rings battle for middle earth) what do you guys do attack head on or let them come to you
sorry for my bad bad grammer my skills are in games and reading books

well going by the demo it doesnt look like the ai comes for you they waited in a group.  Maybe you could pick off a few fighters without engaging heavily.

 

but if your talking about the ground campaign, i made short work of the base by sending the natives in from the south with a few heavier troops and sent my main heavy hiters in from the north to take out as much as i could before the enemy could make it back north.

Um, the AI seemed to take delight in the fact that the correllian corvettes can waltz right past a line of VSDs and ISDs and completely wipe out my fighters and bombers.  Didn't wait around for that at all.  The only time I saw the AI just sit there was in galactic mode fleetwise.  They did do a few rebel sneak attacks though.  I think that the AI will be a lot more robust in the final version.

strange they always just waited for me but i was playin lastnight and i sent my corvettes and fighters thru the astroids while my nebulon frigates were where they started, and the IMP capitol ships went after my nebulon Bs
