There were Lorenar Strike Cruisers, Nebulon-B Frigates mkI and II, Victory-Class Star Destroyers, Executor-Class Super Star Destroyers, Carrack Light Cruisers, Dreadnaughts, etc .....

Hapan Battle Dragon is being made for LoW to be shown on the 28th to forum members. Everyone else needs to wait until Jan 1.

Why??? The whole point on the rotating disk is that it brings charged weapons to bear while the others recharge. We may do an Upgrade for it. You'll have to wait and see.

the point is because the Rotating one meant that it could only fire in one direction at one target but with the Better faster recharge rate it meant that the Battle Dragon Decimates all.

Unlike the other groups, they've actively assisted the Rebel Alliance/New Republic in their quest for galactic peace several times (by sending fleet reinforcements). That stopped after Sal-solo accidentally destroyed half of their entire navy with the Centerpoint .

I don't like the hapans regardless of their EU or not. But I don't like most of the EU anyway. Lucas can't even do his own story justice, let alone some hack author wanabe jacking with it to sell books.

so you saying that just because you have probably read the shittist books in the EU (*cough swarm war books cough cough*) you don't like them i suggest you read some of the decent books with an unbias view these books i can recommend are I, Jedi the Thrawn series, or the rogue series by Micheal Stackpole.

Actually, I have read the Thrawn series. But the issue is that Lucas holds the rights to Star Wars so if the book sucks, they shouldn't have let it go to print. Actually, they shouldn't have let the books get written in the first place. The reason Star Wars is so powerful is the fact that they didn't destroy it with a tv series that would drive it into the dirt. And the Episode I-III attrocities happened so far away from the original series, people were hooked. Anyhow, I hope that they do not show up in the game. Lets get a good Star Wars RTS first and let someone mod that cr@p in if they want.

yeah Teradyn just because you don't like anything else but the OT but have you actually let the EU have a fair trial some of the Authors are really good i agree that there are some books that should have never gone to print but others are what have kept me going through the years of silence and the OT is great but i just cant sustain SW without a bit of expansion. sorry teradyn but thats how i feel and did you know that Coruscant never was feature in the OT it was the Thrawn series that invented it.

You mean the OT books or the movies? And I kinda think this discussion is paralleling a conversation elsewhere. My post in there is this:

 

Well, the problem is that Lucas doesn't even hold true to his first works. It is kind of like rounding something off way too early in a mathematical work. The error that exists is amplified exponentially by the time you get to the "solution". This is my view on the EU. It is of course ok for entertainment as all fan fiction should be, but I disagree with any of it being considered canon. Know what I mean? Even Lucas violates his own canon. Just because he wrote it in the first place doesn't mean that contradicting himself is anything but that.

 

Anyhoo. I think that we all have our opinion of EU and I think that any debate about how valid or invalid it is is moot. I don't consider EU canon, but I do think that EU should be used (where it fills in gaps in the previous stories, nothing more) instead of brand new made up stuff, like the Broadside... etc.
