Is there a way to change the names of existing ships?

I was curious if there is a way in RebEd to edit/change the name of an existing ship/starfighter/troops?

 

Any help would be greatly helpful....

Do you mean the unit type name, or naming individual units while your playing?

 

Unit type names can be edited with RebEd in the download section, of with resource hacker.

 

Resource hacker is better because you can ignore size restrictions. Open STRATEGY.DLL with resource hacker and search the String Table directory for the name you want to change.
