Bill Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 Is this a good strategy or a bad strategy? Because when I do it most all the planets in the sector move against me. The force is strong in my family. No, Luke, I am your father.
0 SOCL Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 I have found a nice way to execute enemy prisoners. I catch some of them maybe 10 or so fly them to a rim sector, unload them thereWait a second, what? You can actually move prisoners? I have never been able to do that unless they're aboard a ship, and even then I can only move the vessel about, not the prisoner. How the hell do you do it? 0 glandry Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 I wonder what would occur if one were to simply destroy all the planets, except Coruscant (if as Empire, of course). Let him hear my EVIL! Muhahahahaha! Muhahahahahaha!I think ol Zootypants is afraid of me and my EVIL! Muhahahahaha!!!Muhahahahaha!!!! "Don't get cocky." You'd probably run out of maintenance points to keep the death star going, and Coruscant would keep flipping back to support the rebels. Put a couple of dozen dark trooper regiments with some strong leaders and you might be able to keep it under control. You would need constant diplomacy missions as well. Oh, and maybe a second death star in orbit!
0 glandry Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 Blowing up planets is not about tactical or strategic advantage. It's all about fun. I once played a game, and just for kicks, I decided to blow up a LOT of planets, like every reble planet I could find. My chars ended up with very high leadership and diplomacy skills... You're telling me that you've found a way to get your leadership skill up???!!! I thought that was interesting too, Scath. Let me check tonight. If I recall, I was getting increases for successful subdue uprising missions.
0 glandry Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 I will have to try that, though everytime I use incite uprising missions they fell or produce no results.I have that same problem. I also have that problem with sabotage missions. I agree for incite uprisings, but sabotage is a breeze if you use decoys...
0 glandry Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 I just checked. You do get leadership increases for successful subdue and incite uprising missions. Everytime I try to move a prisoner at all, the red Imperial military protocol droid says: "Just what is it you think you are doing?" or something like that! I can't move the prisoners! HOW DO YOU DO IT?! Literally, how do you do it?! SOCL: Putting the BE in BEAK.Read the Forum Rules - Welcome the New Members - Rebellion Reloaded -
0 wormie Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 With the Ctrl key. The same way that you chose numerous people for a mission is the same way that you move prisoners.... oh and you have to move them with a character on your side. 0 Lord_La_forge Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 Yes, you need a jailer for that. It can be a character or a special unit too (like a probe droid or Noghris). Just select them all with SHIFT or CONTROL (like you do in windows)..

0 wormie Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 Well since we are all confessing our collective stupidity, I must confess that it took me about a month to figure out how to use decoys. See, we all have our own secrets. I have a few others: I, too, did not know how to use decoys until relatively recently and it took my just as long to figure out how to train Jedi.
