I hope you plan on adding all the Rebel tanks from Force Commander and such ;). Will AT-ATs only be buildable after you take over either Kuat or a planet with the factories?

All you need are the factories, and I'll also make it so that you'll be able to procure most any unit on the black market including Star Dreadnaughts (But the chances you'll have enough credits to purchase something of that scale are pretty slim.)

Star Dreadnaughts (you mean regular Dreadnaughts) ?

I don't see the huge deal with money from a faction though, just make it a few times more expensive, but not ridiculously so. After all, a government in control can print its own money as much as it wants ;).

Well I mean Star Dreadnaughts (Executor, Viscount, Strident, Sovereign). You'd be talking Trillions of credits to get a Shipyard to hand you one under the table.

I'll actually probably have all the Black Market vessels cost 10% of the Square. So...

Theoretically you could build a CR90 at a CEC factory for 1,200 Credits (I'm just making that number up.) That means to aquire the same ship from the Black Market will cost you a whopping 144,000 Credits. Which is quite a lot of credits, but you get some advantages from the cost. Build time is next to nothing for the ship itself so you can have a CR90 with an untrained crew out and in combat in a game day or two so the build time is proportional to the amount of time it takes to train the crew. Thats if you crew it yourself. If you hire mercenaries the cost goes much higher but you could have a Legendary mercenary CR90 within a few days, but it would probably cost well over a million credits.

what about making certain terrain better for troops, like say walkers would be at a disadvantage on foresty worlds (eg. endor) while have an edge on rather empty worlds - which are generally arctic or desert (tatooine/hoth)

Whoa... You know I had camo designs for the AT-ST on the first page, and while yours is good, I prefer the german "ambush" colorscheme for rebel forest units.
